We work closely with insurance brokers and customers to achieve the desired coverage and service.

As you would expect, we have extensive knowledge of the domestic insurance market. But in addition, we have full access to RSA's global network for international insurance programmes.

We also provide our customers technical expertise with a survey on site and give recommendations for avoiding or controlling risks.

RSA Netherlands also works with authorized agents.

What is an Authorized Agent (MGA)?

An authorised agent may perform acts on behalf of one or more insurers for which he has power of attorney that are otherwise reserved for the insurer itself, such as accepting and rejecting insurance, settling a claim and settling premiums and benefits. All this, of course, within agreed frameworks and guidelines and legal provisions.

The authorised agent has his own licence from the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) and his own affiliation with the Financial Services Complaints Institute (Kifid), so he does almost everything that an insurer does itself, but the insurer itself remains the risk bearer.

Which authorized agents does RSA work with?

1. RSA is working with the below MGA. If an insurance policy has been taken out through an authorized agent, you should contact the authorized agent directly for questions or damage/claim reports regarding that insurance.
